Terms & Conditions
Step 1: Access and Completion of Assigned Training
Upon accessing this intranet, employees are required to review and complete all training modules assigned to their designated working role. Certain courses are classified as mandatory based on job function, department, or regulatory requirement, and completion of these courses is a condition of continued employment in that role. Failure to complete mandatory training within the timeframe specified by management or Human Resources may result in disciplinary action, up to and including suspension of role-specific duties or termination of employment, in accordance with the Company's HR policies and applicable UAE labor law. Employees are individually responsible for monitoring their assigned course list and ensuring timely completion; lack of awareness of an assignment does not constitute grounds for non-compliance.
Step 2: Annual Minimum Training Requirement
Each employee is contractually and administratively required to complete a minimum of ten (10) hours of training and educational activity per calendar year, as tracked through the intranet's training dashboard. This requirement applies irrespective of role-specific mandatory courses and represents the minimum threshold of continuing education the Company deems necessary to maintain workforce competency, regulatory compliance, and operational standards. The Company reserves the right to audit training hour records at any time and to require employees who fall short of this minimum to complete remedial training. Non-completion of the annual minimum by the close of the calendar year may be treated as a performance matter and documented in the employee's personnel file.
Step 3: Retention of Training Records
All records pertaining to an employee's training and educational activity, including course enrollments, completions, hours logged, and assessment results, shall be retained by the Company for a minimum period of three (3) years following the termination or conclusion of the employee's employment, regardless of the reason for separation. These records are maintained strictly for internal purposes, including but not limited to regulatory compliance, audit, dispute resolution, and legitimate business record-keeping, in accordance with the Company's Privacy Policy and the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data. Records will not be disclosed to third parties except where required by UAE law or a valid order from a competent authority. Upon expiry of the retention period, records will be securely deleted or anonymized in accordance with Company data retention procedures.
By accessing this intranet and engaging with its training modules, the employee acknowledges and agrees to be bound by the terms of this policy.
